This music was recorded slowly over the course of a year. Most of the sounds on this record were created with an electric guitar, disguised as a synthesizer. I wanted to do an album that was a series of "monoliths", songs without much dynamic change that go for a while and stop. Not much changes over the course of the songs, and they're meant to be taken in as ambient music.
